These hot new beach trends are kind of making me wish I didn’t have such an aversion for the feeling of gritty sand between my toes. Kind of.
I love the look of white and blues, it’s a very Cape Cod vibe that works for beach weddings. I will admit, these Steve Madden Westii Raffia heels are what got me thinking about a beach wedding in the first place. They’d look adorable with a white sun dress and a cute raffia fan.
If you could gather your guests and wedding party to an all white coordinated event, with blue and tan accents, how Hearst Castle- esque would that be?! In planning my own wedding I’ve heard stories about how the Hearst family would throw these big elegant parties with coordinating furniture and outfits. These color theme would look awesome with wedding tents and seashell accents. Think
Throw in a little blue and white chair decorations and sailor boat table decor and your party has a full nautical look. And I love the cuteness of a matching beach couple cake topper!
And I’ve been seeing driftwood accents all over my bridal magazines and websites. I’m tempted to find a reason to incorporate these driftwood garlands and driftwood accent pieces into my home decor.
I know, I’m not a true Californian if I can’t stand the feel of sand on my feet. But these decorations really make me want to plan an all white shindig at the beach just for fun. What do you think?
